This project is located where city meets nature, the space where the city transforms into a new territory: a space where human and nature will coexist and learn how to live together.
Based on the concept of the zoo, this project requires creating a contract between human and nature. Zoos use animals as « emotional ambassadors » for creating emotions and raisingawareness among humans.
This project extends the concept throughout the city of Paris. It is like a second layer added to the city, where biodiversity is the red thread. The second layer adds nature into the city, and creates networks connecting the different spaces of Paris (school playgrounds, street lamps, cemeteries, parks, etc). These networks are symbolized through the movement of animals. To create and intensify these natural networks, we must add inflection points in the city. The project thus proposes several objects, which can be multiplied and adapted to different scenarios and introduced throughout Paris. Those objects will allow animals and nature to flourish in the city.
