The project is an arena for specific racetracks with a juxtaposition of auxiliary programs that will orient and organize the circulation.
The racetrack arena network will be conceptualized as a dynamic field condition that responds to the activities of specific subcultures including people that pocket bike, unicycle and bmx stunt ride. These subcultures will intermix and coexist with secondary subcultures of circus activity, films, fortune telling, martial arts community, acupuncture and chiropractics.
The project study the arena as a flexible terrain that inverts itself from inside to outside to inside according to program distribution and spatial interactions. The track topography, form, and scale will negotiate these conditions by creating a networking between diverse components. Infrastructure will be designed based on organizing the relationships between multiple sets of internal and external information. Inflating the surface through condensing exteriority and internal clustering will generate architecture structure, volume, and skin. In addition theproject will perceive the site as a structured landscape and urban environment that allows for planned and spontaneous events.
